急超时,该怎么处理

急，超时
最近重新安装了服务器(win server2003)，数据库sql2000,网页程序运行一段时间后出现这种提示，sqlserver重新启动后马上又正常，什么原因？谢谢
Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding.
